Partnership Council

The Partnership Council is a multi-sector leadership table made up of organizations and stakeholders from across the Regina region. Members represent a broad range of sectors, including settlement services, education, healthcare, employment services, Indigenous organizations, public safety, food security supports, and all levels of government.

Working collaboratively, the Council helps guide the strategic direction of the Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership and oversees the implementation of the Community Plan. Members identify emerging needs, share knowledge and resources, and support coordinated approaches that strengthen newcomer settlement and integration outcomes.

Through partnership and shared leadership, the Council helps ensure local efforts remain responsive to community needs while advancing a common vision of a welcoming and inclusive Regina.

Immigrant Advisory Table

The Immigrant Advisory Table (IAT) ensures newcomer voices remain at the heart of the RRLIP’s work. Members bring diverse lived experiences, representing a wide range of cultures, languages, ages, backgrounds, and stages of settlement.

The IAT provides valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges newcomers experience when settling in Regina. Their perspectives help inform local priorities, community initiatives, research activities, and strategic planning efforts.

Participation on the IAT also provides opportunities for newcomers to build connections, develop leadership skills, gain volunteer experience, and contribute directly to creating a more welcoming community for future newcomers.

Working Groups & Committees

Working groups and committees bring together community partners who share a common interest in advancing the priorities identified in the RRLIP Community Plan. These collaborative groups serve as spaces for discussion, knowledge sharing, project development, and collective action.

Current groups focus on areas such as employment, housing, food security, mental and emotional wellness, anti-racism and discrimination, and community inclusion. Through research, community engagement, events, and resource development, these groups help transform identified needs into practical initiatives that support newcomers and strengthen the broader community.

By leveraging the expertise and experience of partners from multiple sectors, working groups play a vital role in turning collaboration into meaningful action.
