Build Your Skills: Effective Communication in Customer Service Course by South Saskatchewan Independent Living Centre (SSILC)

RRLIP is pleased to share another learning opportunity for individuals looking to enhance their communication and customer service skills, the Effective Communication in Customer Service course, funded by the Government of Saskatchewan.

Program Overview
Customer service is more than just answering questions, it’s about creating a positive and lasting impression. This practical course is designed to equip participants with the tools and techniques needed to meet customer needs effectively and professionally before, during, and after service. Whether you're seeking employment in customer service roles or simply want to sharpen your interpersonal skills, this training will help you approach every customer interaction with confidence.

Program Highlights: Participants will learn:

  • What is customer service
  • Empathy and active listening
  • Problem-solving (customer’s needs/values not being met)
  • Communication techniques and strategies
  • Face-to-face customer service

Eligibility Requirements
Participants will have the self-management skills necessary to engage in the class.

Who Can Join?
Participants must have basic self-management skills and be ready to actively engage in class discussions and activities.
