Upcoming Employment Programs

Regina Open Door Society Employment Services 

First-aid and CPR preparation (online classes):

This workshop prepares clients for the First Aid and CPR Certification exam by presenting relevant knowledge and practical skills. Clients who complete the workshop will be eligible for the certification exam (in-person) on July 18, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Date:  July 07 - 17, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Eligibility: accessible to all newcomers to Canada (focusing on but not limited to newcomers within the past 5 years) aged 16 and above who experience cultural and or language/ literacy barriers to employment. Participants must demonstrate a CLB 4+ level of English proficiency.

Employment Readiness workshops (line-up of daytime and evening online/in-person):

The Employment Readiness workshops are accessible to all newcomers to Canada (focusing on but not limited to newcomers within the past 5 years) aged 16 and above who experience cultural and or language/ literacy barriers to employment. 
Participants must demonstrate a CLB 4+ level of English proficiency for Daytime workshops and CLB3+ for Evening Workshops.
