There are also Cool-Down locations for people to use as the temperature rises.

During the hot summer weather, it is important to use sunscreen, war a hat, and make sure to drink enough water!

A new service has come to Regina. The Downtown Regina Community Support team consists of four people (civilians wearing uniforms) who will conduct year-round, daily foot circuits in the Regina Downtown Business Improvement District . Traveling in pairs, the team will connect with vulnerable community members affected by mental health, addictions and homelessness, supporting them through street outreach actions. These actions may involve making phone calls, finding services, escorting people to services and helping those in crisis fill out paperwork when needed.
The Downtown Regina Community Support team members will collaborate with community agencies to facilitate vulnerable community members, access to relevant services such as food, shelter, health care, risk prevention/harm reduction and crisis counseling.
