Newcomer Elementary School Students and Families - Orientation Workshop!

Are you a newcomer Elementary School student, or a newcomer family with a student new to Elementary School in Regina and area?  Do you have questions?
SSWIS (Settlement Support Workers in Schools) is here to assist you with OWN (Orientation Workshop for Newcomers)!

This Zoom workshop is to provide important information to students and families about:

- school routine
- culture
- climate 
- scholastic life
- expectations from school, students and families

There are 2 workshops: both from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm via Zoom 
                                                    
October 20: Grades 1 - 3
October 21: Grades 4 -8                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

This is a 1.5 hour workshop with a question and answer session at the end. 
At the question and answer time, SSWIS staff will respond to parent’s queries and any concerns about curriculum or other settlement & integration needs of the families.
