THREADS CULTURAL CONVERSATION 2025: Online Forum
On October 7–8, 2025, the Saskatoon Open Door Society will be hosting the THREADS Cultural Conversation, a two-day celebration of storytelling, art, and intercultural dialogue. With the theme REIMAGINING, the event invites participants to explore what it means to live, learn, and connect across cultures. Expect powerful newcomer stories, Indigenous teachings, youth voices, and global perspectives all woven together to inspire reflection and action. New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP) 2025–2026: Call for Proposals
The Government of Canada has launched the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP) call for proposals for community based projects across the country. This initiative supports organizations working to promote healthy aging, prevent senior abuse, celebrate diversity, and enhance financial security.
If your organization is engaged in supporting seniors through volunteerism, mentorship, inclusion, or capital projects this is a golden opportunity to bring innovative ideas to life.
Applications open August 6, 2025.
