UofR's EAP Program: A Pathway for Newcomers Pursuing Higher Education

For newcomers planning to continue their education in Saskatchewan, the University of Regina’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program provides a supportive and structured pathway to develop the academic English skills needed for university success.
The EAP program is designed to help learners strengthen essential skills such as academic reading, writing, listening, and communication—skills that are vital for succeeding in post‑secondary studies. According to the University of Regina, successful completion of EAP 100 and EAP 101 fulfills the English Language Proficiency requirement for admission into undergraduate programs at the U of R and other post‑secondary institutions across Saskatchewan.
