SAISIA Webinar to Introduce TAYFFI Black Access to Justice Program

This webinar is designed to introduce TAYFFI’s Black Access to Justice Program to community members, prospective partners, and stakeholders. Beyond learning, the session will also serve as a space to build connections within the community. Participants will have the opportunity to share resources, strengthen relationships, and explore opportunities for collaborations. Through dialogue, reflection, and knowledge sharing, this session aims to move beyond awareness toward practical solutions that strengthen community safety, healing, and prevention.

More about the TAYFFI Black Access to Justice Program:

Funded by the federal Department of Justice as part of Canada’s Black Justice Strategy, the TAYFFI Black Access to Justice Program offers comprehensive community knowledge sharing and resources, including:

  • Support for individuals actively navigating the court system through the Black Legal Clinic.
  • Rehabilitation programs for incarcerated individuals to avoid recidivism.
  • Provision of Afrocentric counselling to individuals in correctional facilities.
  • Re-integration programs and support with reconnecting to the community, finding jobs, mental health, and social services.
  • Relevant community resources including cultural brokerage and facilitated family dialogue

**Please note: While the TAYFFI offices are located in Saskatoon, many of the services provided through the Black Access to Justice Program are available in Regina as well as smaller centres and rural areas.**
