Today is Bell Let's Talk Day!

Bell Let's Talk Day promotes awareness about mental health and encourages people not to be ashamed if they are living with mental health challenges.

With the challenges we’ve all faced over the last year, progress in mental health acceptance and education about where to go for help, is so important!

And given that acceptance of mental health differs considerably across cultures, it is crucial that these messages are shared with newcomers in particular!

Whether you’re staying virtually connected with a family member or friend, working directly with those in need, investing in access to care or even just taking care of your own mental health, every Canadian can play a part in their communities, workplaces, schools and at home.

Last year's Bell Let’s Talk Day set a new record, raising close to 8 million dollars!

This year, by joining the conversation, you can help continue Bell’s donation to Canadian mental health programs.

Bell Canada is a telecommunications company that will donate 5 cents to Canadian mental health initiatives every time you:

  • Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube view the Bell Let's Talk Day video
  • Use the Bell Let's Talk Facebook frame or Snapchat filter
  • Tweet or TikTok video using #BellLetsTalk
  • Send a text or make a local or long distance call (*IF you are a Bell mobile subscriber and turn off your imessage)

*The Bell Let's Talk initiative began in 2010, with a goal of promoting awareness and fighting the stigma around mental illness and provides significant funding to programs, research and workplace mental health initiatives.
