Support for Pregnant Women and New Mothers

The newly created Regina Perinatal Health Network (RPHN) creates easier access to treatment and support for women who are experiencing a Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorder (PMAD).

Perinatal mental health is a challenge for many women regardless of income, ethnicity or education.

All supports can be accessed online and are FREE for parents in the community!

Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMAD) occur during pregnancy up to 1 year after giving birth, and affect 1 in 5 people every year.

And untreated perinatal illness significantly impacts the development of young children.

This program ensures that mothers/birthing people have the support they need to stay healthy throughout the perinatal period!

Supports that are available include one on one support sessions, a weekly support group as well as a Facebook group where parents can connect.
