Secure your spot! Citizenship 101 Course starts this January

RRLIP is excited to announce the upcoming RODS Citizenship 101 course

If you are thinking about starting your Canadian citizenship journey, this course is designed to help you feel confident and prepared. We break down what you need to know in a clear, simple way to make the process easier and less stressful.  The Winter 2026 session starts in January 2026

In this course, you will:

  • Participate in engaging, interactive, and informative sessions.
  • Discover how to become a citizen of Canada.
  • Become familiar with the application for Canadian citizenship, including the costs, process, specifications, and required documentation.
  • Become familiar with the interview and citizenship exam.
  • Hear from notable guests on Canada’s politics, society, and history.
  • Take part in a mock citizenship exam; the questions are based on various internet sources and course materials.
  • Upon successful completion of the program, receive a certificate.

Who can register?

  • Permanent residents
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Tested at CLB level 4 or above
