Empower International Students Workshop - Sept 14th via Zoom

Empower International Students is a community-driven organization that provides career development support for international students to help them jump-start their careers in Canada.

As international students, being new to the country, you have to build your personal brand from the ground up. 56% of international students face challenges when it comes to job search after graduation and one of the common pitfalls is not having a clear personal brand. In this workshop, you will walk away being ahead of many other international students in Canada. We will unpack the concept of personal branding and how you can leverage it to build your own professional network in Canada.

- Common personal branding mistakes international students make
- How to define & build your personal brand
- Strategies to help you become top-of-mind
- How to use personal branding for networking

This session is open to international students, organizations, employers, and the family that support them.

Empower International Students. CEO and Co- Founder Pat Chaisang , a formal international student herself, will be sharing from her lived experience. 

Tuesday September 14, 2021 from 12 noon - 1:30 pm,  advising international students on what they need to know to secure employment in Canada.

She also demonstrates how service providers and employers could be supporting these students as well.
