The ICNA Sisters Canada (Regina Branch) would like to share information about the upcoming World Hijab Day.

World Hijab Day (WHD) is celebrated on February 1st, in more than 150 countries all over the world in recognition of millions of Muslim women who choose to wear the hijab by their own free will, to fulfill their religious responsibilities. This day is a means to promote acceptance and understanding by inviting women of all faiths and backgrounds, to experience the Hijab for one day.

They request that community members help them spread the message of acceptance and recognition. To show solidarity with Muslim women, wear a hijab at the workplace on February 1st or during the first week of February, to celebrate this occasion and share photos on social media to spread awareness about the Hijab.
