Upcoming Employment Programs
The Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership (RRLIP) is pleased to share the upcoming employment related programs offered by the Regina Open Door Society (RODS) Employment Services;
Food Safe Workshop: August 25 - 28, 2025
RODS Employment Services is offering an in-person Food Safe Workshop from:
- Date/Time: August 25 to August 28, 2025, running daily from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
- Eligibility: Newcomers to Canada (within the past 5 years) who are 16 years and older, face cultural, language, or literacy barriers to employment, CLB 3+ English proficiency.
Participants who complete the workshop will be eligible to write the Food Safe Certification Exam on August 29, 2025, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
Registration with RODS is required to enroll. To register or learn more, clients can call 306-352-3521 or email [email protected].
Alternatively, clients can complete the Employment Services Registration Form. Once registered, an employment counselor will assist with enrolling in the workshop.

Career Bridging Program: Starting September 2, 2025
RODS Emplyment Services upcoming Career Bridging Program will begin on September 2, 2025. This program is designed to help newcomers transition into the Canadian workforce by enhancing their job-readiness skills and career development.
To help clients learn more about the program, RODS is offering three information sessions. Clients are asked to register for only one session using the links below:
