RRLIP is pleased to share the following programs hosted by our Community Partners:

Amakon: Computer Skills Training

Includes all the basics of computer skills including, Word Processing, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet use, setting up email accounts, and exploring the wide world web.

The course will be online and can be taken synchronously and asynchronously. Some women who already have some computer knowledge and just want to work at their own pace can take this training. People can also take one or more parts (e.g, Excel or PowerPoint only) according to their needs.

Saskatchewan Safety Council: Mature Driver Refresher Course:

The Mature Driver Refresher Course happening at Green Falls Landing on October 4, this is an open course available for anyone to attend! 

Date:  Friday, October 4th, 2024
Place: Green Falls Landing - Revera Retirement, 3850 Green Falls Drive, Regina, SK
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (approx.)

Each year, the Council delivers the FREE Mature Driver Refresher Course throughout Saskatchewan (except within the city of Saskatoon). They host a number of these courses at their location in Regina, in community centres around the city, as well as in rural communities across the province. To request that they host a session in your community, please complete the form

Onilne Therapy Unit courses:

The Wellbeing Course aims to provide free education and guidance on simple but effective cognitive behavioural techniques for managing depression and/or anxiety. The Course helps people with thoughts, behaviours, and physical symptoms of depression and anxiety.

All Wellbeing Courses will help clients manage diverse emotions  (e.g., anxiety, sadness, loneliness, anger, COVID-19 stress, agricultural stress). 

Several versions of the Wellbeing Course, each course has a separate application so please pick the course that applies best to you.
