RRLIP is pleased to share Regina Open Door Society (RODS) Employment Service’s Workshops and Information sessions:

Employment Readiness Workshops

Please see the poster for the upcoming Employment Readiness workshops from September 9-October 3, 2024.

Who can attend: the Employment Readiness workshops are accessible to all newcomers to Canada (focusing on but not limited to newcomers within the past 5 years), aged 16 and above, who experience cultural and or language/literacy barriers to employment.

Language benchmark: participants must demonstrate a CLB 4+ level of English proficiency for Daytime Workshops and CLB3+ for Evening Workshops.

To enroll in the Workshop, interested clients must be registered with Employment Services and meet with their Employment Counselor for the Workshop/certification need assessment.

Career Bridging Program is starting soon on October 7, 2024.

This employment program includes four weeks of classroom training followed by four weeks of Job Shadowing and Experiential Learning.

You must attend only one information session before participating in this program.
