The Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership is a community collaborative that acts as an incubator for ideas, identifying newcomer needs and mobilizing the appropriate community resources to meet those needs. The RRLIP builds on existing strengths in the community to facilitate the full participation of newcomers in Regina. The RRLIP’s host agency is Regina Open Door Society Inc. The RRLIP Project is seeking a temporary, full-time Assistant Manager for a period of approximately 12 weeks. The role will begin in May 2023 (official start date yet to be determined).

Mission - The Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership (RRLIP) and its member organizations will educate, collaborate, and partner for the benefit of newcomers in Regina.
About the Candidate:
The successful candidate will hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social sciences/community development (or related education) and have extensive experience in, and knowledge of:
· existing community programs, resources, and services available for newcomer populations (this
knowledge will be vital to this role)
· community development and capacity building strategies
· working cooperatively in a team-oriented, cross-cultural setting
· coordination and planning of multi-stakeholder events
· non-profit fiscal management
· evaluation and communication of the impact of a non-profit project
· the use of technology
Role Requirements:
The successful candidate will provide project support, with special attention to:
- the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the RRLIP’s activities and deliverables,
including the development and implementation of communication, engagement and capacity building strategies - reporting duties for the RRLIP’s community partners and funders (e.g. measure, evaluate and communicate the impact of the RRLIP)
- the planning and coordination of multi-stakeholder events, when applicable
- other position-related duties, as assigned
This role is contingent upon funding, and if for any reason this agreement was cancelled, the Assistant Manager will be given written notice according to the internal Human Resource Policies of RODS.
Hours of Work: The standard hours of work will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour unpaid lunch break daily. Flexibility may be required to meet project milestones. This position requires a clean criminal record check. This is primarily a ‘work from home’ role in the community of Regina, Saskatchewan. In-community work will be required, on an as needed basis.
Salary Level/Classification: The annual salary for this temporary, full-time role at the AD33 level, is $52,107.32 ($29.69 per hour).
