Sikh Heritage Month Celebration

 


Celebrate Sikh Heritage Month with an afternoon of culture, learning, and community. This family-friendly event highlights different aspects of Sikh heritage through music, food, and interactive demonstrations.  This in‑person event will take place on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐒π₯ πŸπŸ— 𝐚𝐭 𝟐:𝟎𝟎 𝐩.𝐦. on the second‑floor mezzanine of the π‚πžπ§π­π«πšπ₯ π‹π’π›π«πšπ«π². All are welcome.  

Enjoy live music, learn about Sikh martial arts, and watch a turban-tying demonstration. Visitors will also have the opportunity to have a turban tied and learn about the significance of this tradition in Sikh culture.

There will also be a cooking demonstration where you can learn about traditional Sikh cuisine and the role of food and community in Sikh culture.

A free vegetarian lunch will be served. This event is organized in partnership with the Sikh Society of Regina.
