NEW Service in Saskatchewan: Fast, Free Counselling Services - In-Person, Virtual or on the Phone

Fast, free counselling services. People can now book a FREE counselling session in-person with someone in their community, on the phone, or virtually (on-line) with a counsellor anywhere in Saskatchewan.

Rapid action counselling services have the goal of people seeing a counsellor the same day they come looking for help.  Family Service Saskatchewan launched a new website on June 1, so people can book their own secure virtual on-line, phone, or in-person appointments.

The counsellors can help with concerns such as anxiety, depression, addictions, suicidal ideation, stress, relationship conflict, separation and divorce, domestic violence, and parenting.

Services are prioritized for individuals who do not have access to workplace benefits, who live on a fixed or low income, and who would otherwise most often experience long waits for publicly funded services.

Services are provided by professional counsellors who hold education in the counselling and mental health field and who are licensed with a professional regulatory body to provide this service.

If your situation is urgent, or you feel at risk, please contact Mobile Crisis Services 306-757-0127 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
