March 21: Rise Against Racism – Join the Provincial Campaign

March 21 is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, recognized by the United Nations as a global call to challenge racism and promote equity. The Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan (MCOS) leads a province‑wide educational campaign each year to raise awareness and encourage communities to #RiseAgainstRacism.
This year’s campaign invites individuals, schools, workplaces, and community groups to take part by downloading free activity kits, sharing social media messages, and promoting actions that recognize and reject racism. Participants are encouraged to complete the statement “I/We Rise Against Racism because…” and share why this movement matters.
Explore resources, graphics, and activity kits at MCOS’s event page and join the effort to build a more respectful and inclusive Saskatchewan.
