“Getting Beyond Us and Them”: A FREE Interactive Community Theatre Experience

RRLIP is excited to share details about "𝑮𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑼𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒎", an upcoming interactive theatre production created by Indigenous and Black participants of our Creating Shared Futures project - an initiative of Common Weal Community Arts. This project is generously funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage and the Government of Canada. It is supported by Saskatchewan Writers Guild, Buffalo People Arts Institute, and On Cue Performance Hub.

This interactive performance explores personal and collective struggles, through group building, image theatre, issue exploration, improvisational work, rainbow of desire and play creation for this community-specific theatre performance. It is directed by David Diamond - the originator of Theatre for Living.
