BVOR Refugee Sponsorship Program Re-Opening April 5, 2022! Information session to learn more!

New announcement from IRCC! BVOR is restarting on April 5th!

The Blended Visa-Office Referred (BVOR) program is a way for ordinary Canadians to get involved in refugee sponsorship.

Refugees are referred by the UNHCR (The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) for resettlement in Canada, and are matched with sponsor groups to partner with IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) in supporting them for their first year in Canada.

IRCC helps Canadian sponsor groups with some of the financial cost of sponsorship through the Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP), while the sponsors provide the practical settlement support and remaining financial assistance.

We will share a recording for those who cannot make it or would like to review the material.

The webinar is on March 28th at 1pm ET (12:00 noon Sask time)
