Upcoming Employment Readiness & First Aid/CPR Workshops at Regina Open Door Society (RODS)

RRLIP is pleased to share two workshops organised by Regina Open Door Society (RODS) Employment Services team to help newcomers build skills, confidence, and pathways toward meaningful employment in Canada.

Employment Readiness Workshops – September 2025
Employment Readiness Workshops are available both online and in-person, during the day and evening. These workshops are tailored to support newcomers aged 16 and above who may face cultural, language, or literacy barriers to employment. Participants will gain practical tools and insights to succeed in the Canadian job market, from resume and interview preparation to understanding workplace culture.

Who can join?

  • Newcomers to Canada (within the last 5 years, but open to others as well)
  • CLB 4+ English proficiency for daytime workshops
  • CLB 3+ English proficiency for evening workshops

First Aid & CPR Preparation Workshop – September 15–25, 2025
This Workshop helps newcomers prepare for the official certification exam and also equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to handle emergency situations and prepares them for the official certification exam a valuable credential for many employment opportunities.

Dates: September 15–25, 2025 (online classes)
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Certification Exam (in-person): September 26, 2025, from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Who can join?

  • Newcomers to Canada (within the last 5 years, but open to others as well)
  • Aged 16 and above
  • CLB 4+ English proficiency

How to register:
Participants must be registered with Employment Services and complete an assessment with an Employment Counsellor or Call: (306)-352-3521 or Email:[email protected]
