Regina/Saskatchewan Research Article, From Interviews with Service Providers - About Domestic Violence in Newcomer Families

A new journal article titled 'Supporting Newcomer Women Who Experience Intimate Partner Violence and Their Children: Insights from Service Providers', has been published in Affilia: Feminist Inquiry in Social Work.

This article reports findings from seven focus groups with 32 service providers from newcomer-serving and domestic violence agencies in Regina and Saskatoon.

This article is part of the larger tri-provincial research project (Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba) that included focus groups with service providers and interviews with newcomer women (report published in November 2020). Journal articles sharing findings from interviews conducted with newcomer women in Saskatchewan will be published next.
