The RRLIP joins people all around the world to celebrate women and gender-diverse people on March 8th, 2024 - International Women's Day (IWD).

This year, the Government of Canada (which also funds the RRLIP, through IRCC), and the United Nations are celebrating the theme of "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress".

March 10th is also the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan for our Muslim neighbours, as members of other faiths are observing Lent and the beginning of new yearly cycles.
