Upcoming Industry & Informational Webinars For Internationally Trained Newcomers

Career Loans is a program that helps internationally trained professionals in Alberta and Saskatchewan, achieve their career goals in Canada.

Career Loans is a virtual program, designed to help newcomers who encounter barriers in having their credentials recognized, or face challenges in securing funding to be re-certified.

The program is funded by the government of Canada and offers career counselling and microloans of $1,500 to $15,000, which can be used toward training, assessment, accreditation, exams, licensing and membership fees, and any required materials. Loan recipients have up to four years to pay off these low-interest loans, and will continue to receive personalized employment and financial counselling throughout.

Another service they provide, free of charge, is webinars and information sessions that are industry specific.
