RRLIP Team is pleased to share several upcoming employment-focused programs organized by our community partners. These initiatives aim to support newcomers in developing essential skills, managing stress, and advancing their career goals in Canada.

Stress Management Class by SSILC
Adjusting to a new environment and workplace can be challenging. To support newcomers in maintaining well-being during their employment journey, the South Saskatchewan Independent Living Centre (SSILC) is offering Stress Management Classes. These sessions are designed to help participants identify sources of stress, learn coping strategies, and build resilience for both personal and professional growth.

Whether you are new to the workforce or looking to enhance your self-care routines, this class provides a supportive space to learn and share.

CareerNet Program – Saskatchewan Intercultural Association (SIA)
Are you a newcomer hoping to re-enter your professional field in Canada? The CareerNet Program by the Saskatchewan Intercultural Association (SIA) offers a free employment training opportunity tailored for internationally trained professionals.

Program Highlights:

Start Date: January 6, 2026
Duration: 8 weeks of online classes (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
Followed by: 8 weeks of professional mentoring in the participant’s field
Format: 100% Online – Accessible to newcomers across Saskatchewan
Participants will gain practical job search skills, career development guidance, and one-on-one mentoring with industry professionals.

Career Bridging Program
This employment program includes four weeks of classroom training followed by four weeks of Job Shadowing and Experiential Learning.
