A research study is Analyzing
Causes and Effective Policy Response to Violence Against Women Migrants and Refugees
Researchers at the University of Manitoba are interviewing migrant and refugee women across Canada on the theme of violence against women. They want to learn about your migratory journey and your settlement experience in Canada.
Sharing your story will help them understand:
- experiences of violence against women,
- the strategies women use to prevent violence and deal with its impacts,
- how services that support migrant and refugee women can be improved.
The interview will last one to two hours, and participants will be given $30 for participating.
They will provide an interpreter service if needed, and all answers will be kept confidential with high consideration for privacy and security.
