RRLIP Community and Funders Forum Reports - Available Now!
The RRLIP would like to sincerely thank those who attended and shared valuable input at both the Annual Community Forum and the Funders Forum in March.
At the 2019 RRLIP Annual Community Forum, participants learned about mental and emotional wellness supports available in Regina. Participants also joined with service providers, to discuss how mental health is viewed cross-culturally and to identify barriers and gaps in services for newcomers, as well as local solutions.
A final report of the activities and findings from the 2019 Community Forum can be found on the RRLIP website or by clicking here.
At the RRLIP Funders Forum, newcomer-serving organizations heard from entities that grant funding opportunities and support, to local initiatives and programs. Both funders and fund-seeking agencies then joined to discuss areas of interest in applying for funding as well as perceived gaps in existing support programs. Local solutions were also presented (brainstormed) and there was an opportunity to network and ask questions in a tradeshow-style environment.
