Regina National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration

National Indigenous Peoples Day is an opportunity for our entire community to learn more about the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada.
Hosted by special guest Conway Kootenay, and featuring performances from The Asham Stompers, Red Dog Drum Group & Starblanket Dancers, Mother Theresa Middle School Student Drum Group & Dancers, and more!

There will also be indigenous crafters and artists who will be selling or displaying their work - such as: jewelry, ribbon skirts, starblankets, etc.

It’s the 10th celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day in partnership with the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Network. Partners include: City of Regina, SGI, SaskTel, SaskPower, FCC, Campion College, Regina Public Library, Regina Police Services, Reconciliation Regina, Province of Saskatchewan, File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council, Casino Regina and Economic Development Regina.
