National Francophone Immigration Week - Nov. 1-7, 2020
National Francophone Immigration Week is an initiative to raise awareness and promote Francophone immigration and diversity in Francophone minority communities.
This year's theme is "My Francophone Colour".
Activities designed to celebrate and educate about Francophone Immigration have been organized across Canada.
Thirteen activities will take place throughout the province, especially in Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Gravelbourg and Prince-Albert.
Given the current global pandemic, 7 activities will be held in-person (with safety precautions in place) and 6 events will be held online.
In line with the theme of “My Francophone Colour”, chosen by the Fédération des communautés francophones et acadienne (FCFA) of Canada, 10 of the 13 activities will focus on celebrating diversity, as well as on raising awareness about fighting racism and other forms of discrimination.
