SOHL is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Multicultural Kids Camp in Regina, August 22nd to 26th, 2016, at the First Nations University. The camp aims to increase intercultural connections and improve camaraderie between children of various ethnic, linguistic and cultural backgrounds. We have some excellent facilitators to bring language and culture lessons to the campers. Our line-up for the camp includes Swahili, Ukrainian, Cree, Russian, German, Chinese, and Hindi!

This day camp will be held from Monday to Friday with a schedule of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm each day, and is open to all children in Regina!   Ages 7 - 13 (entering grade 2 – grade 8)

The camp enrollment will be limited to a maximum of (40) forty campers, and positions will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Participating organizations will include lessons of language, art, dance, sport, and other cultural activities in their planned curriculum. Activities will be educational and engaging with time spent both indoors and outdoors!

Please find the registration form and photo release forms attached for the campers.

The registration deadline is Monday, August 15.

Camp registration fee is $200 per child.

With this, your child will be provided with morning and afternoon snacks, but they must bring their own lunch - water bottle too!

Registration will not be confirmed until SOHL has received the full registration fee.

On Friday, August 26th from 12-2pm, an open house will be held at the First Nations University for all camp participants and their families, as well as the general public. Additionally we will have food and performances, even face painting, for entertainment during the open house!

Parking will be free for this day at FNUniv, please use gravel lot 12.

We realize that this is short notice, but we know that this is a unique opportunity for your children and it will be a week to remember!
