Newcomer News - Issue #9
While the Spring/Summer edition of the Newcomer News was emailed to our subscription lists in July, we are a little late sharing the newsletter on our blog.
Some of the highlighted programs have finished at the end of Summer. But, there are several topics and programs that would still be of interest, including:
- RRLIP Developed Resources for Newcomers - including the newly created Interactive Newcomer Services Map
- The Street Project - a harm reduction and needle exchange program offered by Saskatchewan Health Authority
- RRLIP Immigrant Advisory Table - call for volunteers to join
- Free Canadian Citizenship Preparation Classes - offered by the Regina Public Library, New Canadian Integration Society and Regina Open Door Society
The entire newsletter can be viewed on the RRLIP website or by clicking here.
*This is the 9th edition of the Newcomer News, which is issued quarterly and highlights local programs, initiatives and resources relevant to newcomers in Regina. It is geared to all English learner levels and can be translated by clicking on the Google Translate button on our webiste. Earlier Newcomer News editions can be found on the RRLIP webiste or by clicking here.
