About the Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership (RRLIP)
The Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership is a community collaborative that acts as an incubator for ideas, identifying newcomer needs and mobilizing the appropriate community resources to meet those needs. The RRLIP builds on existing strengths in the community to facilitate the full participation of newcomers in Regina. The RRLIPs host agency is Regina Open Door Society Inc.

The Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership (RRLIP) and its member organizations will educate, collaborate, and partner for the benefit of newcomers in Regina.

About the Candidate: The successful candidate will hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social sciences/ community development (or related education/experience) and have extensive
(5 + years) experience/knowledge in:
• community development
• community capacity building strategies
• working cooperatively in a team-oriented, cross-cultural setting
• coordination and planning of multi-stakeholder events
• research and data analysis
• non-profit fiscal management
• measurement, evaluation, and communication of the impact of a non-profit project
• existing community programs, resources, and services available for newcomer populations
• utilizing computers and technology efficiently

The successful candidate will be motivated by continuous learning, and a leadership role at a senior level.

Role Requirements:
The successful candidate will provide project support, with special attention to:
• funding objectives, developing project work plans and managing project activities to support the implementation of the RRLIPs strategic plan
• the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the RRLIPs activities and deliverables, including the development and implementation of research, communication, engagement and capacity building strategies required to support the RRLIPs work
• securing adequate funding to expand the RRLIPs capacity and support project sustainability
• the project’s fiscal management
• the administration of regular reports and progress updates for the RRLIPs community partners and funders (e.g. measure, evaluate and communicate the impact of the RRLIP)
• the planning and coordination of multi-stakeholder events
• research and data analysis
• community development
• other position-related duties, as assigned
This role is contingent upon funding, and if for any reason this agreement was cancelled, the Assistant Manager will be given written notice according to the internal Human Resource Policies of RODS.

Hours of Work: The standard hours of work will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour unpaid lunch break daily and an EDO every second week. Flexibility may be required to meet project milestones. This position requires a clean criminal record check.

Salary Level/Classification: The annual salary for this position, at the Probation Level of AD33, is $51,333.41 ($29.25). There is a cost-shared benefits package and a 3% employer contribution to the Saskatchewan Pension Plan available to the employee, with successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
