A Group of Ukranians Have Arrived in Regina!

A charter flight with 230 displaced Ukrainian nationals on board arrived in Regina on July 4, 2022.

The Saskatchewan provincial government is working with the University of Regina to
house arrivals for the next 14 days. A "one stop shop" reception centre has been organized on the University of Regina campus to accommodate the arrivals' needs related to health, housing, employment, etc. The local response is a collaboration of several agencies - local, provincial, and federal.

Newly-arrived Ukrainians needing assistance, and/or community members who wish to help displaced Ukrainians arriving in Saskatchewan, are encouraged to contact the Saskatchewan branch of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC); visit the UCC-SK website: https://www.ucc.sk.ca/

Read a welcome message to the recent charter arrivals from UCC-SK's President here.
