What is the event? It is a free, virtual Research Presentation Event hosted by Local Immigration Partnerships in Saskatchewan. 

Why Attend? This event is meant to support you in identifying breastfeeding supports, and potential enhancements to the supports, required by the vulnerable group.

Guest Speaker: Dr Shela Hirani (PhD, IBCLC, RN) - Associate Professor - University of Regina

When: November 7th, 2022 at 2pm

Content of Presentation: Dr Shela Hirani will present barriers encountered by newcomer, immigrant and refugee breastfeeding mothers in Saskatchewan, and discuss recommendations on ways to promote, protect and support breastfeeding practices of these vulnerable groups. Time for Q/A has been allotted.
