Regina Public Library Invites you to Participate in a Community Building Event - Nov. 17th
The Regina Public Library is working with Chris Kutarna to host a community building conversation.
Chris Kutarna was born and raised in Regina, and is a published author, two-time Governor General’s Medalist, a Commonwealth Scholar and Fellow of the Oxford Martin School.
Chris has developed a model for bringing diverse voices together in conversation. The model, called 'basecamp' – is a series of facilitated conversations where people come together to better understand complex issues facing our communities, to ask questions, to hear perspectives from other sectors and experiences, and to learn new ways of having conversations.
This event is not about forming a committee. It is not about solving a problem. It is about hearing from diverse voices and building connections.
In this conversation we will explore the starter question:
What has the pandemic revealed to you?
The intention of this event is to gain knowledge and insights as we work to move forward positively and productively in uncertain times.
When: November 17th, 2020
Time: 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. and 11:45 – 1:00 p.m.

Preparing for Community Building Conversation
Questions to help you think about “What has the pandemic revealed to you?
• What have you discovered that is important to you and/or the community?
• What do I need and what am I grateful for?
• What are we not talking about?
• What could we start doing today that would make an immediate positive change?
• What do I see on the next horizons?
