INVOLVE (Integrating Newcomers with Volunteer Opportunities to add Leadership Value through Education) is offered by The Regina Open Door Society. 
RODS Welcoming Community for Newcomers (WCN) volunteer program is hosting INVOLVE!

The objective of INVOLVE is to:

• promote volunteerism to new arrivals
• equip newcomers for volunteering
• provide an opportunity for immigrants and refugees to volunteer
• connect newcomers with community-based organizations (CBOs) that require volunteer support

When? Saturdays: February 26 - March 26, 2022 - from: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Who can join? 

• newcomers with Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 
• willing to volunteer in the community

This FREE program helps newcomers understand the culture, role and history of volunteerism in Saskatchewan and Canada.  
It explains how non-profit organizations are structured and how they generally operate.
It gives newcomers a platform to identify their skills, attributes and interests - to find opportunities to contribute successfully.
