New Downtown Event Space Launched - currently Rent-free for non-profit organizations!

Does your non-profit organization need space for an event?  An innovative new event space has just opened its doors.

The Cornwall Centre in downtown Regina has become the first mall in Canada to develop an event space specifically to be used by community organizations and mall merchants.

“We’re rooted in the community and have been for a long time. Now we really want to
strengthen our relationship with the community, with cultural groups, community organizations,
small business and local entrepreneurs,” said Katherine Braden, Marketing Manager of the
Cornwall Centre.

The 2,500 square foot space, located across from the SaskTel store, is dubbed ‘The Studio at
Cornwall’ or just ‘The Studio’.
The facility celebrated its official opening on October 14th.

The space is currently being offered rent free for non-profit organizations and mall merchants.

The Studio comes equipped with a complimentary projection screen and sound equipment,
pods of soft seating, tables, chairs and even a kitchen. A full-time employee has been hired to
oversee and manage the event space.
