Many Canadians are confused about the vaccine information they hear and read.
Newcomers are particularly vulnerable to false information because they do not know where to find accurate information.
People are spending more time online during the pandemic and some of the online information about vaccines is wrong and misleading.
There are different kinds of "wrong" information:
- Misinformation is wrong by mistake.
- Disinformation is wrong on purpose. It’s a deliberate attempt to mislead you.
