International Women's Day Events
International Women's Day celebrates the amazing contributions women make to the world, in so many different ways. The theme for 2022 is 'Break the Bias'. There are MANY events to choose from.
Below is a small sampling of opportunities to join.
Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan (WESK)
March 8 at 11:30 am - 1:00 pm via Zoom
Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough, action is needed to level the playing field. Much like a panel discussion, we will pose a few questions in advance for discussion, and give everyone the opportunity to share their thoughts. This event will feature breakout room discussions and will conclude with an optional group networking session. Will you actively call out gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping each time you see it? Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
FREE, but donations are welcome (view the poster here)
