Free Programs for Increasing English - Speaking Skills and Learning about Volunteering in Canada

These programs are intended to support newcomers to build and improve their English language skills as well as their leadership and public speaking skills. They are facilitated by Regina Open Door Society and their community partners. 

The INVOLVE program is designed for newcomers with CLB 5 or above who want to learn about the culture, role and history of volunteerism in Saskatchewan and Canada. The program will also support newcomers to find volunteer opportunities, based on their preference, choice or education.  These will be opportunities to contribute and gain volunteer work experience with other organizations within Regina area. 
Saturdays, starting Sept 25.  Registration Deadline: Sept 23

The Toastmasters International program is partnered with RODS, supporting newcomers with CLB 5 or above to learn and develop public speaking and leadership skills.

The WCN Conversation Circles program is intended for newcomers with CLB 1-4.  It is a place to learn, practice and improve basic English language skills.
