Free Library Programs - Tutoring, IELTS Preparation and Citizenship Classes.  Online and in-Person

Regina Public Library has many classes of various kinds.  Many are specifically geared to assist those who are learning English, studying for IELTS classes, and preparing for the Canadian Citizenship test. Sessions are available online or in-person. For the programs listed below, people must be registered with the Literacy Unit.

Online Sessions

Group Tutoring: 
- Must be registered in the Literacy Unit
- Must be minimum CLB 4
- Should commit weekly for September and October

            Monday 1:30 to 2:30
            Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00

            Wednesday 1:30 to 2:30
            Thursday 6:30 to 7:30
            Saturday 1:30 to 2:30

IELTS Academic Preparation Classes:
- Must be registered in the Literacy Unit

- Must have minimum CLB 5
- Must commit to the 12-week series of classes

                Friday 6:30 to 8:30 pm

 

In-Class Sessions

Group Tutoring:
- Must be registered in the Literacy Unit

- Drop-in
- Must wear a mask in the library

Central Library: (2311 - 12th Ave)

             Monday 1:30 to 3:00 (starting September 27)
             Monday 7:00 to 8:30

             Wednesday 1:30 to 3:00
             Thursday 7:00 to 8:30 (starting October 7)

Citizenship Preparation Class:
- Must be registered in the Literacy Unit

- Must commit to regular attendance for 10 weeks
- Must have minimum CLB 4.

               Tuesday evening 7:00 to 8:30 starting September 14
