Fire Prevention Week - Local Events to Attend!

Regina Fire & Protective Services is celebrating Fire Prevention Week from October 9th to 15th. This year’s theme is “Fire Won’t Wait. Plan Your Escape.” 

Local events include:

Fire Station Open Houses and a Community Pancake Breakfast!
Regina residents are invited to join in on events taking place throughout the week to learn about fire escape plans, tour fire stations and meet the neighborhood firefighters. 

Wednesday, October 12, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.  
Fire Station Open House  
Fire Station #6, 303 Rink Avenue    
Tour the Fire Station, meet firefighters and learn more about fire safety in your home!   

Friday, October 14, 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.  
Community Pancake Breakfast for Fire Prevention Week  
mâmawêyatitân centre, 3355 6th Ave – Multi-purpose room  
Come for a free pancake breakfast and learn about planning a safe escape in a fire. Explore a fire truck and talk with firefighters!   

Saturday, October 15, 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.  
Fire Station Open House  
Fire Station #5, 2700 E Arens Road  
Tour the Fire Station, meet firefighters and learn more about fire safety in your home!
