Grant to Support Non-Profits During COVID - Deadline Tomorrow! (Sept 30th)
The City of Regina is is supporting non-profit social service providers in their work to address critical needs of our vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
One way they are supporting local non-profits is by administering the
COVID-19 Community Response Fund for Vulnerable Populations
This funding is to support local non-profit agencies that have been assisting Regina’s most vulnerable residents through the COVID-19 pandemic.
The funds will be distributed as grants to local non-profit organizations to assist with expenses such as specialized cleaning and sanitization products, personal hygiene products and personal protective equipment for staff and vulnerable individuals.
This will help ensure front-line, non-profit agencies will have the tools and equipment they require to continue serving Regina residents safely while also ensuring the safety and security of those that access these services.
Applicants are encouraged to request funds sufficient to cover health and medical expenses in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Total funding awarded will depend on the number of eligible applications. The funding received must be used only towards eligible expenses incurred between March 12, 2020 and December 31, 2020.
The deadline to complete the application is TOMORROW (September 30th, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.)
The application can be found here.
