We are a new non-profit organization in Regina. The goal of our organization is to create awareness of the diverse community the Caribbean has in southern Saskatchewan.
We are having a Caribbean Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, July 9th, 2022 starting at 8:00 p.m.at Highlander Curling Club 348 Broad St, Regina. 20$ tickets for Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas and a non-alcoholic drink or 10$ without food. Steelpan performance by Desmond Paul and Carnival Masqueraders with DJ Yardie and DJ KIDD hosting the dance floor.

Our organization will host our first annual Caribbean Carnival, CaribFest '22, on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, starting at 12:00 p.m. on 13th Ave. & Cameron Street with a parade of Masqueraders in colorful costumes dancing through the streets of downtown Regina. The parade will end in Victoria Park where there will be a variety of entertainment, food, drinks, and bouncy castle. All ages are welcome to attend this event to experience a momentous day of fun!

If you are a cultural association/organization or performance group, we are wanting to kick off our first Carnival on July 23rd by inviting your community to dress in your traditional regalia and join us on the parade to Victoria Park. As Mosaic was not a possibility this year, we are inviting your performers to come share our stage to celebrate our 1st Carnival event. Please share with your community so we can add your performers on the stage lineup as well as send out all the details for the parade. We will need confirmation of performers by Friday, July 15th, 2022. Email [email protected] or phone 306-533-4980.
We are also looking for volunteers for Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, Caribfest Carnival in Victoria Park and would truly appreciate it if you are able to share this information with your community on any platform or newsletter.
