600 45 St. W., Saskatoon, Sask S7L 5W9

Around the world people become refugees when they are forced to flee their homes because of conflict or violence.

When refugees come to Canada, MCC is there to help with programs that:

  • Promote refugee sponsorship and support churches through the process (learn more about refugee sponsorship)

  • Inform Canadians about refugee policies and advocate for fair legislation

  • Provide refugee claimants with legal support and help with settlement into new cities

  • Encourage churches to provide migrant workers with spiritual and practical support

  • MCC also does long-term development, working to solve the root causes of conflict and reduce the number of people becoming refugees.
