West African Immigrant Families Needed for UR Research Study
Researchers from the University of Regina's Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies are studying Active Living Perspectives of West African Immigrant Families in Saskatchewan.
In order to participate, you must:
• Be a member of a family originally from West Africa
• Have immigrated within the last ten years
• Have one or more children (aged 10 to 17 years) living with you
This study has two phases:
Phase 1 is an eligibility survey which should take 5 minutes to complete. After the eligibility survey, you will be given a code for the next phase. To participate in the eligibility survey, please go to https://uregina.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8cwQXRIhF7HCiRT
Phase 2 is a separate interview with you and your child(ren), which should take approximately 30 minutes each. Participants that are not available for face to face can be interviewed via Skype.
You will also be given a PEDOMETER (electronic step counter) as compensation for your participation after the interview.
