The RRLIP is Looking for People to Join the Immigrant Advisory Table

The Immigrant Advisory Table (IAT) is a diverse and inclusive volunteer group that represents a diversity of backgrounds, ages, cultures, languages, genders, education and varying settlement stages.

This Table exists to provide a voice to those who have lived experience coming to Regina from other countries and to inform the work of the community. Being a member of the IAT also provides an opportunity to gain meaningful Canadian volunteer experience, develop friendships and to build knowledge and expertise about the local community. In turn, IAT members are well-connected to the newcomer community and share what they have learned with others.

If you have an interest in sharing your experiences as a newcomer to Regina, so that our community can become better informed about newcomer concerns, challenges and successes, we encourage you to complete the application form.

Further details about the IAT can be found here and you can review discussion points in the minutes from previous meetings which are found on the RRLIP website.
