Newcomer Women - Weekly Saturday morning program at the Mackenzie Art Gallery!  Special Children's program and childminding included.

REALI program (RECREATION THROUGH ART AND LIFE SKILLS) is a program for women and their children that happens at Mackenzie Art Gallery every Saturday from 10 AM to 12 noon. 

Through a partnership between Regina Immigrant Women Centre and the MacKenzie Art Gallery, this program provides an opportunity for immigrant women to share, create, and learn through empowering workshops.

The program includes:

  • Conversation circles and life skills training
  • Referral and education to access community services
  • Building relationships and sharing experiences in a safe environment
  • Art activities with professional art instructors

Free child minding is available for children to participate in supervised play, games, and art activities while mothers attend the workshops.

Eligibility:

Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, Refugee Status, Visitors, and Work Permit holders
This program is available only to women

Workshop Times: Drop-in basis (registration required - you can register that day)

REALI Summer hours: Saturdays from 10am to 12pm (noon)
REALI Winter hours: Saturdays from 10:30am to 12:30pm
